In air traffic control "surveillance" refers to the sensors, like RADAR, which allow controllers to display data which they cannot observe directly. In this section of our website we include, not only the sensors themselves, but the systems which automate and display those data as well.

Below is a listing of the sensors and processes which will form the initial basis for this section. Some items are already linked to pages but many are not. We are currently working to build pages covering all of these systems, and, at the same time, are adding non-US systems to the list.
